Blog Hopper

Sometimes on days when work is slow or it's a Friday like today & I don't want to start anything to big before the weekend I'll do what I like to call Blog Hop.  If you look at the top of the screen there are words like "Share" "Report Abuse" and my favorite "Next Blog>>".  I like to hit that link and see where I end up.  I've read about so many peoples lives this way.  I've read about people's struggles and people's joys.  I've read about relationships, parenting, crafting, and shopping.  Maybe it's intrusive to read people's blogs whom you don't know....Maybe that's why blogs are written.  It seems that if I click "Next Blog>>" enough times eventually I'll find what I'm looking for that day.  Most days it's someone writing about a trial in their life and how they are overcoming, how God is working in their life, how it DOES get better.  I by no means have it tough and I'm not going through anything particularly troubling right now, but for some reason reading that a complete stranger is getting through a hard time allows me the insight to realize that I can't complain, about anything.  A few weeks ago in Church the lesson was about learning to be content and it has really stuck with me.  Do I want a new vehicle, new clothes, or anything else....SURE!  But I have to realize that thus far God has provided for me in all my needs. 

Matthew 6:25-27
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

So, if reading other people's blogs helps me remember this than I'll be clicking "Next Blog>>" more often!
