Bed & Breakfast: Part I

The sitting area

Our uber comfortable bed!
Bud & I spent the night at a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg.
It's called the Hoffman Haus.
It's not a typical Bed & Breakfast filled with antiques and floral patterns.  We stayed in the Calico Cottage.
It's heavenly.
In the morning instead of going to a large table and eating with a bunch of strangers, they bring a picnic basket to your room and you can eat in bed!
Apple Popover, Corn & Pepper Quiche, and Fresh Fruit
After breakfast Bud & I got ready and headed out for a full day at the National Museum of the Pacific War.
He loves this kind of stuff
We spent about 1.5 hours there before taking a break to devour a delicious lunch and yummy deserts at Rather Sweet Bakery & Cafe!
Bud's Hello Dolly Bar.
My Key lime Pie...SO yummy
Then it was back to the museum for another 2 hours.
It started to sprinkle just as we were finishing the last of the outdoor walking tour.
Back to the Bed & Breakfast to nap.
I could get used to this!
Now it's time to put on our dancing shoes and hit the dance floor.
I hope ya'll are having a blessed Saturday.
