Bible Verse Friday #26

"Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself.  I am the Lord." ~Leviticus 19:18

The Lord works in mysterious ways.
Obviously he knows when we are battling with something.
And in knowing that he reveals to us verses we need to hear.
As I continue down a path of discernment I am so thankful for these reminders.
It is in my best interest to make sure that my responses are not vengeful.
It is in my best interest to let go and not bear a grudge.
I am to love others, always.

However, if someone continues to hurt you over and over again it is not wrong to remove them from your life.
Don't wish ill on them, in fact do the opposite.
Pray a prayer of blessings over them.
Love them as God loves all of us.
Step away.

I think that will be my next step.
I will have said everything I can to express my hurt.
I continue to get the same response in return, "I didn't do anything wrong".
We have different opinions.
This is understandable, but I no longer wish for my opinion to always be viewed as less valuable.

Thank you Father God for reminding me to be kind and let go.
To love as you do and to try my hardest to be a steward of your word in all my actions.

I hope you all had a Blessed Friday!
