As we approach this holiday weekend it's important to thank our heavenly father for creating the men and women who allow us the freedom that is the United States of America.
This nation that we live in is a beautiful nation where we can freely praise our heavenly father without fear of persecution.
So many nations around the world do not have that freedom.
So many nations around the world live in constant upheaval over religious rights.
There is fighting.
There are murders.
There are people hiding because praising God is forbidden.
So as you celebrate with fireworks (or no fireworks if you live here and are under a burn ban) and firing up the grill take a moment to reflect on how amazing it is that we can freely worship daily.
Thank a soldier for fighting for that right.
Thank your heavenly father for creating that soldier.
