Baked Apples

if you are looking for more healthy snack options here is one that requires only 2 ingredients.
What You'll Need:
Apples & Cinnamon
Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Slice your apples into thin pieces.
I look for any excuse to use my apple slicer/peeler!!!
 It's so easy.
Just stick the apple on...
 ...and turn the handle...
this apple was pretty large so for some reason it had a hard time peeling it.
Oh well a little skin never hurt anyone!
Now pull it apart like an accordion and you'll end up with perfect circles.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 275˚ for 2 hours.
After an hour flip them and then check them after 30 minutes.
Once they look like apple chips they are done!
If you end up not liking them...at least your house will smell yummy!

Hope you had a Blessed Thursday!

    1. One of the homes we lived in in KS had about a dozen apple trees in the back yard. I just remember that there was a long portion of my life that I didn't want to even look at red apples and to this day I still don't like red delicious! But I do wish we would have made more snacks like this!

  2. I actually bought a bag of Apple Chips yesterday and loved them so I'm going to be craving apples for awhile. I'll have to try this out soon.
