I have had my fair share of trials.
I know that I will face many many more trials in my life.
I've always heard that the stronger your faith gets the more trials you may face.
It's Satan's line of defense.
He tries so hard to place obstacles in our way so that we will experience doubt.
He tries to bring us down.
To bully us into submission.
And yet our faith is what keeps us going.
Trials aren't always HUGE.
Sometimes it's small struggles that we deal with.
Sometimes it's the culmination of small trials that seem to overwhelm us even more than the major life changing trials.
The question that we must ask ourselves when we are face to face with Satan's obstacle course is, "are we strong enough"?
And every time we as ourselves that questions we should automatically reply with a good solid, "NO"!
Did I throw you for a loop there?
Were you expecting a "YES"?
We need to admit that we aren't strong enough, but that God is strong enough and that with him we can make it through all the trials that we will face.
Big, small, and everything in between.
I have a lot of friends out here in blogland and I read so many posts about good days and bad days and no matter what is being written I'm always amazed at the sheer honesty.
We are allowed to let our walls down here and lay it out on the line who we really are.
It's amazing.
I know that it sounds harsh, but I always know that if someone doesn't like the honesty that I bring here than they don't have to read what I post anymore and visa versa.
These trials that we all face show that our faith is genuine.
I pray that you will always feel welcome to share openly what is going on in your lives.
I pray that you will always know that I am here to pray for you if you need it, all you need to do is ask!
Someday we will be brought much 'praise and glory and honor' when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.
Be genuine.
Be blessed!
I hope you all have a Blessed Friday!
