Peanut Butter & Chocolate Swirl Brownies....FROM SCRATCH

You all know that I suffer from an insatiable sweet tooth.
That being said I recently had a sweet tooth attack and discovered I didn't have anything sweet within reach.
Fortunately, my Dad recently sent me a cookie cookbook that featured a peanut butter swirl brownie recipe.
FYI I have never made brownies from scratch.
I buy the package from the store, add my eggs and water/oil...and throw them in the oven.
But today I was desperate.
So I checked the cabinet and I had EVERYTHING I needed...kinda!

Here Is What You'll Need:
-2/3 cup sugar
-1/2 cup packed brown sugar
-1/2 cup butter
-2 tablespoons milk
-2 eggs
-3/4 cup all purpose flour
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/3 cup baking cocoa
THE RECIPE calls for 1/3 cup peanut butter chips and 1/3 cup chocolate chips.
I, however, had a package of peanut butter and chocolate chips.
So I used 2/3 cup of the premixed kind.

Preheat your oven to 350ยบ
Grease a 8x8 or 9x9 dish.

In a medium bowl mix sugars, butter, milk, and eggs.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
Divide batter in half.
Stir peanut butter and 1/3 cup chips in one bowl...
...and cocoa and 1/3 cup chips in other bowl.
One should look like this...
...and the other like this!
Spoon batter into dish.
I used an ice-cream scoop and plopped them haphazardly in the dish.
Then take a knife and swirl together.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Allow to fully cool.
It's pretty huh?!
Well it tastes great too!
And although I had to wait a while to satisfy my sweet tooth it was well worth it.

**This dish serves 16 brownies each approximately 215 calories**
