Bible Verse Friday #19

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.  Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.  For apart from me you can do nothing.  When you produce much fruit, you are true disciples.  This brings great glory to my Father". ~John 15:5,8

What better time to produce fruit that during the Christmas season.
After all HE is the reason for the season right?
Despite all the Sales and Santa look-a-likes, JESUS is the reason Christmas happens each year.
'Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit'...
Sometimes it's hard to stay focused on what Christmas is really all about.
But if we can forget the commercialism that circles this season and we can stay focused on the birth of our savior than we can abide by this request.
If we can commit to spreading the word that the Savior Has Come...then we will produce much fruit.
What better gift to give this time of year that eternal life.
What better gift to receive than that of knowing that someone is destined to reside in the kingdom with our amazing Heavenly Father!

So although this BVF is short...it's simple, as is the request of this verse.
Remain in him.
He will never leave you.
He will bless you.
Honor him by telling everyone of him.
Bear fruit.
Give the gift, the ultimate gift, this season and know that you're bringing glory to the Father.

I pray that you all had a Blessed Friday!
