also known as a photo montage of some of what went on in this house today :)
I made 3 dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for the Spouse Christmas Party tonight.
I took this caulk...
to the bottom of all our floor mats so they wouldn't slip slide when we walked on them.
I took these simple white drawers, that we've had for years....
...cleaned them up....
and sprayed them black so they will go better with the black shelf they will be sitting on.
I fit in a few rows of knitting!
I allowed this Pinterest idea to inspire me...
chalk board paint and...
...a few wine glasses..
dip the stem in the paint and allow to dry on wax paper.
A new twist on writing your name on your glass & a step up from plastic cups at a party!
Bitsy and I fit in a walk this afternoon
it's about a 1 mile loop.
Bitsy was awake the 1st half, but by the end she looked like this:
When I got home I found this baby on my doorstep
I snagged this off Amazon.com the other day for 16.99!!!
I'd been eyeing the same one at Target for $30 for weeks!
YEAH!
After we were home we fit in a few other small chores,
Bud came home around 5:30 and made us sandwiches for dinner.
I rushed to rinse off and get dressed before running out the door for my Spouse Christmas Party.
Overall it was a lovely event, I met some wonderful wives and ate too many cookies.
I came home with just as many cookies as I left with, but a much more varied selection.
Either way that many cookies is a bad thing, so I might have to bag these up and deliver them to the neighbors as a Christmas treat ;)
This was my busiest day yet, but somehow we made it through...I'll be ready for bed.
Speaking of now seems like a good time to head that way, Bitsy's will be ready soon.
I hope you all had a Blessed Tuesday!

Sounds like a productive day! Don't you love those?!
ReplyDeleteGirlie, you stay so busy and I love that!! I had two days like that this weekend where I just chugged away at chores and projects, and felt great about it! I'm glad you're meeting some new friends down there!
