Bunting

Oh boy...let me start off for apologizing about my recent absence.
After having a cold for 3 days I just haven't seemed to be able to bounce back.
But, despite all that I was still able to find some time to craft so here we go!
I used the following tutorial with a few moderations in order to fit what I needed.
After printing my template I got to cutting all my triangles
Then I lined them up just so I could admire them

I matched a piece of brown and white damask w/ a piece of
plain brown and sewed them together with a 1/4" seam allowance
Then I cut the corners so they would be more pronounced.

I like to sew another 1/4" allowance once turned just for a little
more oomph!
Finished product...
ready for the Bridal shower!
I hope everyone is doing fabulously!
I am asking for a small prayer request.
I am asking that I will feel 100% better soon!
This moving slower thing is not suiting to me...or my house...or work.
Thank you all for being such great followers!
Have a Blessed Monday!

P.S. I forgot to mention.
I WON!

Stuff and Nonsense
had a giveaway for a $35 gift certificate to Blessings Unlimited
I used my $35 gift certificate to purchase this pretty:
Guard Your Heart Necklace
I can't wait for it to get here!

  2. Thanks for the comment. We are here in San Antonio for my husbands job in the Air Force. He is a Survival Specialist, so we were up in Washington State for the last 3+ years and just got transferred down here for my husband to teach at the selection school for SERE. (SERE is the acronym for Survival Evasion Resistance Escape, too many acronyms in the military!) We are loving TX though...mush warmer and more like home than WA. Good luck with your new adventure! It will be very rewarding in the long run...so hang in there!
