A few weeks ago we had the luxury of having my youngest brother-in-law visit!
He was here for about 3 days and during that time he turned 20!
It's really crazy to think that when I started dating Bud a decade ago, BIL#3 was only 10.
My-oh-my how he's changed.
He's quite the character.
Unfortunately, Bud still had to work 2 of the days that BIL#3 was here, but we tried to make up for it in the evenings and on Saturday when we visited the local Airborne Museum, followed by a round of lazer tag and dinner.
Since it was his birthday I wanted him to have a special birthday dessert.
I am not a fan of cake.
It's a little overrated in my opinion.
I like the idea of a birthday dessert instead.
Before BIL#3 came to visit I asked him what his favorite sweet treat flavor was.
"Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" was the response.
I took that and ran with it!
Here Is What You'll Need:
- 1 roll of chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1/2 gallon of chocolate chip cookie dough ice-cream
-2 cups of Cookie Crisp® cereal
-2/3 cup hot fudge topping.
Preheat your oven to 350ยบ
Line a 13x9 pan with aluminum foil.
Break up and press down the cookie dough to form a crust.
Bake for 15-18 minutes.
Allow this to cool completely (approx 30 min.)
While this is cooling remove your ice cream from the freezer and allow to thaw in the fridge for approx 30 minutes.
Spread softened ice cream evenly over cooled crust.
It should look like this when you are done smoothing.
Top evenly with cereal.
Yes.
I individual placed each cookie bite, but you could be a bit more haphazard.
Place hot fudge in a small baggie.
Cut off a small corner and squeeze topping in a pattern that makes you happy!
Cover and place in freezer for 1-hr prior to serving.
Adding candles can be a little tricky since it's frozen.
I can vouch that this was a delicious treat.
I mean seriously...doesn't that make your mouth water?
ENJOY!!!
Bitsy and her youngest Uncle.
I love moments like these.
I hope you have a Blessed Tuesday!

Yum! Looks like the perfect birthday treat!
