Baby Diaries #22

Sunday and Monday Bud and I worked hard to move everything we don't anticipate needing in the next few months out of the 2nd bedroom (and other parts of the apartment) and into the garage.  This allowed Bud to set up the guest room!
It's so nice to open the door to that room and see a functional room and not a storage shed.
This morning I was ready to get to work on the boxes that remained.
See these boxes weren't just full of household items or clothes, they were packed to the brim with nearly everything Bitsy Hitzy could need after she gets here.
The first box was the cradle.
With our limited space, she isn't getting her own room right away.
I don't think she will mind.
Instead, we have a cradle that will sit by my side of the bed and allow me easy access to her during those first few months!
I could have easily put it together, but I stopped myself.
See I get the joy of carrying her around for 40 weeks.
I get to feel every kick and punch.
I get to experience the most profound feelings while she's in the womb.
Bud gets to watch.
He gets to sing to my belly.
He gets to feel her kicks and punches when he's home and she's feeling active.
I knew that Bud needed to be the one to put together her cradle.

Putting the cradle together put a big smile on his face.
It brought tears to my eyes to realize that in less than 2 months there will be a beautiful baby girl laying in that cradle.

And there you have it.
The finished product.
Clean sheets & blanket.
Adorable sea critter mobile.
It's absolutely perfect!

I hope you had a Blessed Tuesday!
