Bob Your Head #25

Hey EVERYONE!
Can you believe it's already Wednesday?
I don't know where the days go anymore.
Well I have an announcement to make, nothing major, just a few changes around here.
This will be the last Bob Your Head Wednesday for a while, quite a while, maybe forever.
I'm just not feeling it anymore.
I talked with the hubby and asked for his suggestions on what I should do with Wednesdays from now on and would you believe that he had the perfect solution?
From now on Wednesdays will be all about somewhere we went and something we did.
What We Did Wednesday!

Now did you catch the other small change?
That means that after over 475 posts, the letter "B", will no longer dictate the title of my posts.
There will still be Bible Verse Fridays....and Book Reviews.
Mondays will be dedicated to Main Dishes.
Tuesdays will be Sweet Treats.
Wednesdays will be What We Did.
Thursdays will be Craft Time.
So the goal is to continue to post 5 times a week, 6 times when I have a book to review (psst...there will be a book review with a giveaway VERY soon!).
How do you all feel about this change?

Well to honor old tradition here is our last Bob Your Head song....
Dog Days Are Over.
I don't know what the song is really about.
The video is extremely odd.
But the song makes me want to get a move on!
I hope you enjoy!!!

Happiness, hit her like a train on a track

Coming towards her, stuck still no turning back

She hid around corners and she hid under beds

She killed it with kisses and from it she fled
With every bubble she sank with a drink
And washed it away down the kitchen sink

The dog days are over

The dog days are done

The horses are coming
So you better run

Run fast for your mother run fast for your father

Run for your children for your sisters and brothers

Leave all your love and your longing behind you
Can't carry it with you if you want to survive

The dog days are over

The dog days are done

Can you hear the horses
'Cause here they come

And I never wanted anything from you
Except everything you had
And what was left after that too. oh.

Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back

Struck from a great height

By someone who should know better than that

The dog days are over

The dog days are gone

Can you hear the horses
'Cause here they come

Run fast for your mother and fast for your father

Run for your children for your sisters and brothers

Leave all your love and your longing behind you
Can't carry it with you if you want to survive

The dog days are over

The dog days are gone

Can you hear the horses
'Cause here they come

The dog days are over

The dog days are gone

The horses are coming
so you better run

The dog days are over

The dog days are gone

The horses are coming
So you better run

Have a Blessed Wednesday!

  1. Trying to decipher lyrics send me back to my English class with Professor Poff. First day we had to interpret Pink Floyd's The Wall. It was so cool seeing how people had so many different takes on one song. I say bring on the changes, as long as you're still posting, I'm happy!

  2. Biz, any changes
    you make to your
    blog will surely be
    a lovely reflection of
    you.....and therefore,
    will be wonderful.

    Wish I could post {and
    read other's} as often
as you do, but at this
    juncture, I'm barely able
to do it, at all, let alone
    have any kind of pattern
    or organization.....

That is an odd video, but
I have always liked the song
    and of course, the harps,
    since my Elizabeth plays the
    harp!
